He has over twenty years of experience as a US Naval Officer and is also a devoted member of his community.

Before founding Lightspeed Restoration, Martin Holguin had a long and successful career. Most recently, he worked as the Director of the Program Management Office for Truvian Health. Here, Martin developed and implemented a Program Development process tailored to the company’s mission. He also helped to create, achieve, and maintain company milestones.
Prior to this, Martin Holguin was a Senior Staff Program Manager and Interim Director for Thermo Fisher. Martin significantly contributed to the Accula SARS-CoV-2 Test’s success by implementing measures that reduced annual scrap by $40M and achieved a 90% first-pass yield for a quarter, including pre-start sub-assembly tightening and introducing sub-assembly analytical test methods.
Martin Holguin worked at Illumina for three years as their Staff Program Manager. Martin effectively oversaw the development and launch of key revenue-generating products, including Microarrays, DNA Library Prep Kit, flow cells, reagents, and DNA Sequencing Systems, facilitating timely commercial releases such as NovaSeqX, NextSeq 1000/2000, BLT DNA Prep, and the Infinium Global Diversity Array with Enhanced PGx.
Martin Holguin‘s career began with twenty years in the US Navy. Martin Holguin exhibited exceptional leadership and mentorship skills by guiding teams of up to 150 personnel to achieve first-time certifications and successfully execute missions, such as the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile and Ballistic Missile Defense. His dedication to safety was evident in ensuring zero incidents during Carrier Strike Group deployments while also orchestrating complex operations involving multiple ships and assets, including a chemical weapons strike in Syria.
Outside of work, Martin Holguin is enthusiastic about Ironman Training. With a disciplined regimen encompassing swimming, cycling, running, and strength training, he prepares meticulously for the ultimate endurance challenge. Martin’s commitment to pushing boundaries mirrors his approach to leadership, where he applies the same perseverance and determination to achieve remarkable results.
